Isn't this the cutest jumper you've ever seen?

I have amazing friends, who know me so well. This was a gift from my amazing team at my last job, who I don't get to see every day anymore - the hardest thing about starting a new job, which I did last week, is leaving colleagues who have become friends.

This is the cutest jumper. And it fits so well. It's an angora, wool and nylon blend from Topshop, and I am in love with it. Except knowing me, I will spill something on it, so it is banned from the dinner table, the kitchen, the garden, and anywhere that I will likely make a mess.

Bargains in Borders

I've already mentioned in previous posts about the slow death of some of our big bookshops in Auckland. Every time I go into Borders another section has been completely closed. But one benefit, if you can call it that, is the 75 per cent off books from 2008 or older. I got Knitwear In Fashion by Sandy Black for $17.50, down from $70!

And here is an update on the reversible cable scarf, I'm a third of the way through if you measure it by the amount of yarn I have.

So thick and warm! And with the way this weather is carrying on, with crazy wind and rain, I'll be needing it right into spring.

Quince & Co

The Quince & Co yarn arrived. It is squishy. And awesome. And so green! It will be nice for spring.

Really looking forward to starting this jumper. It will be the first one I've knitted in the round, so that's quite exciting. I'm only allowed to start on the condition that I finish my scarf though - which is going to be a challenge if this keeps happening.
