Gable Top - a quick weekend stash bust
If you've been here a while, you'll know I have a slight obsession with anything stripy. My usual off-duty look includes a striped top, and I've added to my collection this last weekend by making my first Gable Top from Jennifer Lauren Handmade.
I've never really been one for using pdf patterns because of all the printing and taping, but I love this simple style and figured it would be a very quick make because of the knit fabric. It took me about an hour. For the sleeves I used some leftover black merino and for the rest of it, I used cotton knit from Drapers Fabrics. And it pairs perfectly with my vintage style jeans I found in Paris last year but have struggled to wear with other tops in my wardrobe, so we're winning all round!
